MacNair’s Boutique House of Spirits 2025 Round Up

This year, MacNair’s Boutique House of Spirits remained committed to our journey of spirit exploration. As a boutique company, we maintain a hands-on approach, and this year was no exception. Throughout the year, we meticulously sample and follow the spirits as they mature to ensure they are of the highest quality.

We were over the moon to receive numerous appraised accolades this year across our brands, Lum Reek and Exploration Rum.

We have achieved significant success with Lum Reek, earning several prestigious awards this year. Lum Reek 10-year-old Cask Strength Batch 3 received Gold at both the ISC and Scottish Whisky Awards. Lum Reek 12-year-old, was honoured as Gold Category Winner at the World Whiskies Awards Scotland 2026, demonstrating the exceptional quality of this expression.

MacNair’s Exploration Rum Jamaica made a remarkable impression this year. The Peated expression took home gold at the 2025 Scottish Rum Awards, and we are truly honoured to receive this recognition for the second consecutive year. The Unpeated expression was awarded Master at the Rum and Cachaca Masters and then Gold at the World Rum Awards.
